My sister has posted her story on Facebook over the years, both as an outlet and to communicate her progress to her loved ones. This story began on February 8, 2007, when she received her initial diagnosis, but I could only get her post history from 2015 forward.

I can tell you that I remember the day she told me the news. I have a terrible memory for my own medical conditions (I forget the name of my own [easily treatable] cancer and the full medical name of the procedure I had done to eradicate it sometimes!) but I remember her words:
